Instruction for Authors
Authors are required
to use the templates of abstract and full manuscript for preparing articles.
All templates can be downloaded from this website. The articles can then be
submitted through the submission system managed by the Thai Society of
Mechanical Engineers (TSME).
First-time
submitters will need to create an account in the submission system. Look for a
menu link provided at the top of the page. After an account has been created, the
author can then login to the system and submit an article for peer review.
To publish your work in either the TSME or the AIP conference proceedings, an author must submit a manuscript strictly in the TSME-ICoME 2023 template format for review through the paper submission systems of the TSME-ICoME 2023
(https://www.tsme.org/submission/icome2023/).
To publish in JRAME, an author must submit a manuscript for review through both
the paper submission systems of the TSME-ICoME 2023 (https://www.tsme.org/submission/icome2023/) and JRAME
(https://ph01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jrame).
Use the TSME-ICoME 2023 template format for the TSME-ICoME submission and the JRAME template format for the JRAME submission.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that publishing research articles in the AIP Proceedings and JRAME will take more time than publishing them in the TSME Proceedings (usually longer than 8 months after the conference dates). Under time constraints, authors may consider publishing their works in the TSME Proceedings if they would like to get their articles published within a certain time frame (approximately 1 month after the conference dates). If this is the case, authors may edit types of publications in the submission system or contact the conference team via email to notify us.
Presentation Guideline
- English is the only language for presentation.
- Presentation time is critical: each paper is allocated 20 minutes (15 minutes for oral presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A).
- Slides should attract and hold attention, and reinforce what you say - provided you keep them simple and easy to read.
- Presenters must be sufficiently familiar with the material being presented to answer detailed questions from the audience.
- The presentation certificates will be given at the end of each session-by-session chairs. One excellent presentation will be selected and awarded from each topic.
Presentation Preparation
- Prepare your presentation slides in the Power Point format.
- The presenter is required to bring their own laptop, which is available to connect with the HDMI or VGA port. The adapter for connecting with the projector is also necessary to prepare for their own if the presenter need to use it.
- Please arrive at the designated meeting room at least 30 minutes before the presentation time.
The information about the conference will be constantly updated. For more information, please contact the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University.
